A long time ago I had a dream very similar to this, which I'm barely starting to remember now. In my dream it was the apocalypse, and I was strapped down on a table similar to this, and someone told me my only way out was through drilling a hole in my skull (trepanning). It was terrifying, especially since I was very young when it happened. Thanks for reminding me of that interesting dream.

Superb job on the pixel art, and your pixel lighting/shading is really good. The smooth and twitchy motions were well done and give it a good sense of animated style as well as it sets the creepy mood for the animation. The story was well told without any dialog, and comes off quite very enigmatic and ominous as I expect you wanted it to.

Great job on this overall, the retro pixelated animation style has got to be one of my favorites and you pulled it off marvelously, while also portraying a very thought provoking storyline and providing lots of symbolism. As for how I see it could be improved, at the scene where the scientist is marveling over the pyramid structure I think a silent chuckle while slightly looking angling his head higher up would've been a nice detail to add and make the scientist seem just that much more maddened by his quest. Other than adding that one small detail its hard for me to think of anything else you could add to make it better. Maybe I'm not the fairest and most unbiased reviewer but you got my 5/5.

Irony

Ha ha, when it says "Looks can be deceiving" it meant the monster crying because its "lonely" and not that the monster is actually friendly. A moral would be to trust your instincts, that thing doesn't have a big mouth and sharp teeth for nothing.

Also note to everyone, just because it says "Monstro" doesn't mean you comment in a different language than English!

Great

I thought this was a great flash, and a great addition to the Madness series. Hopefully Jesus will come back for his halo(That is if he does) and team up with hank + the new guy that didn't get killed to defeat the dark one. About the new arm; I thought it was cool and I bet its just a result of radiation from that revival machine, and will probably slowly turn back into a normal one.

Had fun beating this lil' game with everything on par, and even finding ways to do a ton of them under par! (Hint: You gotta use jumping to your advantage). Your cuts have to be very precise and well placed, and you guys milked the mechanics really well for their usages. Would've been nice to have more mechanics and more levels though; maybe more focus on the platforming element as well as the cutting strategies. My last complaint, as far as mechanics goes, is a lack of visible achievement for aforementioned under-par level victories.

As for the aesthetics: I really enjoyed the music! It's simple, but a nice listen: I haven't gotten tired of it still! The art for the platforms is well done as well. I would've liked an animation or something for the ninja cutting space though, and the ninja himself is nicely done but perhaps just not that great in my opinion, he blinks too much, his walk animation is a bit boring but functional. Also noticed a bug where if you walked into a laser the walk sounds still play until time reverses. His jump is really cute though, haha! Makes sense this fat lil' ninja sucks at jumping too, considering he can just move space around and stuff in order to get to where he needs to go.

Whelp, that's my two cents. Hope you guys update it, or make a sequel!

I like the idea of this, but it would be more neat with extra units and more levels beyond 20. Also maybe some control over the arrangement of your troops?

I found a flaw in your game: If you don't upgrade anything at all and just keep playing you can make it to level 5, the match has a chance of never ending.

Feels like this should be a track in a Cyriak animation. One of my favorites. Nice track!

Diserving!

All I can say is this definitely deserves best of all time!

I like how the skeletons still gettin that ass, he may be dead as fuck but damn was it a good time.

Haha yes, I see this picture as a story, with a twist. You know, the olde excalibur got itself stuck in a stone again, and someone has to pull it out to become a legend! Ah, but this time the "stone" just so happens to be the fore-arm of a massive cave troll! Hey that's a superior, and more intense legend anyways.. if you manage to survive! I mean hes gotta already be angry there's a freakin' sword in his arm, and now pesky adventurers and fame seekers wont stop disturbing him to attempt to pull it out! Despite the constant annoyance at least he has a steady food supply without ever leaving home, but who knows if trolls like to think on the bright side of things or not.
